BrainCell User Manual — Version 4.0 Now Available

We’re excited to announce the release of the BrainCell User Manual v4.0, now available for download on the official Neuroalgebra website

This new edition provides a major update, reflecting the latest advances in BrainCell v1.0 and introducing expanded documentation for the newest simulation modules.

Multi-cell simulation support — load and simulate multiple cells within a shared extracellular environment.

Dynamic extracellular diffusion — coupled ionic exchange between astrocytes and neurons in real time.

New biophysical mechanism panels — unified control of ion channels, transporters, and signaling pathways across all cells.

Inside–Out Diffusion module — full workflow for defining grids, setting diffusion parameters, and animating extracellular dynamics.
